this whirlpool has an issue that will not allow it to start after checking the plug and the socket it will not even make a bump sound like when there is current reaching the dryer motor is there a reset switch on this unit and if so where is it located and could the door switch cause this dryer act like this like just what do i need to check and in what order do i need to check them?

The dryer has a thermal fuse in the blower housing.

If the dryer vent has excessive lint and is block the fuse will open because the air flow is restricted.

This will cut the power to the motor so the dryer will not start.
