Default Won't spin and makes noise
Brand: Kenmore
Age: 5 - 10 years

My front load washer has problems with sporadic spin problems. Sometimes in the final spin the drum will spin, but make noise, then sometimes it just makes noise and the drum sits there. We thought it might be the pump, but it still drains.
Have no clue as where to start fixing it.

Let me help you. Your pump is probably full of all kinds of stuff. We need to clean out the filter. Here is the best way to do it. If you unplug the washer, and pull it away from the wall, and lean the whol washer back, so the front is off the gound at least a foot and a half. Then take the bottom control panel off. There are three torx screws on the bottom 1 on the left 1 in the middle, and 1 on the right side. Once you take the panel off, right there in the middle right in front is the pump. Unscrew the cover, and pull the whole filter out. Oh, by the way, any money you find is mine. LOL!! Isn't that an amazing amount of stuff in there? LOL Put it back together, and run your laundry, you probably will not have any problems. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
