Angry Won't Spin
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: LAT3500AAE
Age: 5 - 10 years
Washer will filland pump will work but,
it will not spin aor agitate. motor is working
but not sliding back far enough to engage the
transmission. When I push the motor to engage
the spin cycle the motor cuts out. Any suggestions?

Check and make sure that the transmission is turning freely.

Is the belt stretched.
