Default Won't reach proper spin RPM
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MAH20PSAWW
Age: 1 - 4 years

This is the commercial version of the Neptune

The machine spins but at a 50 or less RPM. It shows no fault codes. Iran it through it's fieldd and extended diagnostics and there are no codes. I checked the help section on the control board and also there are no codes. The machine operates in all cycles and functions but doesn't come up to it's 800RPM speed.

I checked the motor control board, harness and motor conncections; all fine.

I did a voltage check at the board; good. I also did a motor and control test; this too was good. Although the motor test was good I did a phase test also. All three phases worked perfectly. I've eliminated the motor and a thinking the motor control board is bad.

Any one got any ideas?

Have you check to make sure the door is locking?

If the door does not lock it will not spin at top speed.

Here is a link to the breakdown of the washer model MAH20PSAWW.
