Won't drain during the spin cycle

The washer was doing a load when I heard a strange sound and then the sound stopped. When it went into the spin cycle and finish the water was still in the tub. There's no kinks in the drain line due to it never being moved. I think in might be the pump or may be a drain valve? I need some input please.

The pump in the washer is belt driven.

Take the front panel off and check your belt and see if the pump is seized.
