Default Won't complete cycle
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: GVW9959KQ2
Age: 1 - 4 years

My Whirlpool Calypso model GVW9959KQ2 stops with 8 minutes remaining. The clothes are soaking wet. I can unplug the unit to create a PF - Power failure and select Extend Spin. It will then pump the water out and complete the cycle. What could be the cause of this problem? I used the tech guide attached to the front cover of the washer and performed the diagnostic test. It seemed to complete the test without fail.

The diagnostic test tests each component but does not test the internal circuit of the electronic boards.

It likely one of the boards that is failing.

Here is a link to your washer model GVW9959KQ2
