My Maytag Washer just stop agitating the other day. This is the very first problem I ever had with it. The water comes in and it will spin but not agitate. When turning the selector knob bunches of times, it did agitate for awhile but stopped.

Thanks in advance. Is there a manual on line I can view?

By selector, you mean timer? If so.. it could very well be the timer.

I meant to say timer control knob which is what they call it in the user's manual. However, the timer is part of that control knob. Is there an isolation test to determine if the timer is the real problem?
Thanks.
