wont agitate with chloths in it. put just water in it works. how do i get the agitater apart to check the spline.

To take the agitator off pry up under two vanes at a time.

The vanes are the paddles that move the clothes.

The agitator snaps on to a drive bell.

Once you have the agitator off remove the bolt holding the drive bell.

To pull agitator, you may need to use a rope under the agitator and looped around a 2x4. Using leaverage on top of washer, just pry up, it will pop up.
