Hi Everybody,
I Have a model GCXR2080TBWW,it was built in the USA and sold in Canada by Canadian General Electric,it is a top loading model and is approx 13 years old.
The agitater won't work anymore,everything seems to be OK,We can wash all of our stuff and it will do everything but agitate,The agitator is loose but will not agitate or come off.
Can somebody help ?

Check and see if the shaft is moving.

Remove the agitator and fill the washer with water.

If the shaft is moving the spline may be striped in the agitator.
