I have a Kitchenaid It fills with water but the tub will not spin . You can hear some sound like it wants to work but does not agitate . at the end of cycle it will drain but does not spin water out .

Can you please supply your model number.

It sounds like the coupler that joins the motor to the transmission has failed.

Tip the washer back and see if there are black rubber pieces on the floor.

You may also find white plastic pieces.
