We bought our machine almost 5 years ago and I just recently noticed a noise coming from the washing machine and it seems as though the top agitator is wobbling causing the noise during a wash. What do you think could cause this and what might I need to do to fix it? Thank you!!!

Can you hold the top agitator still, while the bottom half moves? If so your agitator dogs are worn out and need replacing.Bettyboop

Agitator dogs:

Have you ever used a socket wrench,or rachet wrench, a rachet wrench only turns one way, that's because little levers (dogs) only let something go one way with out slipping. When the top of your agitator can go forward or backward, that meang the dogs are worn out and slipping, got it?
