Today, after doing several loads of laundry, the washer stopped agitating or spinning. It will fill with water, but makes an extremely loud buzzing sound anytime the motor runs. Not an electrical buzz; more of a mechanical one. Any thoughts or ideas?

I searched the forum threads and found lots of similar topics, but none for this particular machine. Thanks again for any assistance.

It is likely the coupler that has failed.

Tilt the washer back and see if there are rubber and plastic piece on the floor.

That was it- No rubber or plastic on the floor, but one of the nylon halves had split. Part is ordered; thanks for the quick assist!
