Default Whirlpool bearing noise, how to change
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: 970-C40042-00
Age: 5 - 10 years

I would like to know if there's somewhere that we can get the schematic of the washer or something like to change the bearing.
Or maybe it is very easy to do ?
I did not check what it look behind all of that but i would like to have an idea before getting started, it's not mine ..

Can you please verify you model number as I can not locate it in our database?

It should be on a tag with the serial number.

The model # is really that one: 970-c40042-00
And the serial # is: xc01418590

The washer came from Sears and the washer was made by Frigidaire.

You may be able to get a breakdown from either of them.

Sorry we do not have any thing listed for that model.
