Default Where can I get a parts diagram...?
Brand: Amana
Model Number: LW3502W2
Age: More than 10 years

I have an Amana Model LW3502W2 washing machine that is ~12yrs old, and has began to leak.

I removed the front panel and ran it through a cycle, and it appears that the leaking starts when the agitation starts.

Obviously my view was limited, but the leaking appears to be coming from somewhere high in the center of the maching, because the leak is collecting on the top of the driveshaft pulley and then getting flung around by the agitation.

Before ordering parts, I'd like to find an "exploded view" or "parts disagram" of this model. (I figure since I'm going to have the machine apart and will be ordering parts, I might as well replace all of the rubber parts to avoid future problems.)

Does anyone know where I can find a parts diagram for this model?

Also, from my description, any prime suspects? I suspect it's a failed center post gasket, but my only knowledge on this subject is from a bit of internet surfing this morning.

Thanks.

Steve

This is a very labor intensive job. Basically you will probably need new bearing also.
You can go to Appliance repairs, Appliancehelp, Appliances, repairs to dryers washers dishwashers fridges repairs microwaves ge maytag kenmore frigidaire westinghouse inglis, appliance how to take apart information, purchasing an appliance help, model number help, for info.
