Default What is it called?
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: kaws700j
Age: 5 - 10 years

My washer wouldn't go into spin cycle unless I dropped the lid down so the sensor would acknowledge the lid was closed. Now it won't progress to the spin cycle at all. What is that little piece called, in the opening, that the plastic piece pushes into? I guess that's what needs replacing, it has 2 screws to hold it in place.
