Default Week motor?
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: GVW9959KQ0
Age: 5 - 10 years

I've had several pump plug-ups over the years, and now I'm getting different error codes; Like long drain, suds, and over-full. I checked all the diagnostics and everything is OK. So now I'm thinking that the pump motor is getting weak. Does anyone know what the AMP draw should be? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

When the washer gives the codes at what stage is the washer at?

Did it just fill?

Did it just Drain?

Have you check the pump impeller to make sure that it is turning freely.

Here is a the resistance that you should have a the drain motor.

Remove the connector.

From red to white you should have 11.1 ohms. Recirculating.

From Yellow to white you should have 11.1 ohms. Drain.

From red to yellow you should have 22.2 ohms. Recirculating to drain.

If you get a higher reading replace the motor.

Here is a link to your washer model GVW9959KQ0.
