My water won't stop running. If the machine is turned off or on. The only way to stop it is to turn the water off and it is only cold. The machine is more than 10 yrs. but we have taken good care of it and it is a Sears Kenmore 110.91578800 and would prefer to keep using it. Please is there someone who can help me?

your water inlet valves may need to be replaced you can find them here click the link 3rd part down Kenmore Parts for Models 11091578800 they are found at the rear of the washer if you are going to replace be sure to mark where your wires go on a piece of papper so you reinstall them correctly
