Default Water in tub
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 11045966404
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have noticed that water is leaking into the washer when it is not being used. Im pulled out the detergent tray and noticed that there was water trickling down the back of the tray holder where the water inlet tube is. Is the culprit the inlet valve?
Machine is 15 months old.

Yes there is probably some sediment causing the valve not to seal good. You may can clean, flush and blow it out and get it to seal or get a new one. Disconnect the line after the valve to see which is leaking. Hot or cold.
