I have the opportunity to replace the water pump on our Amana washing machine (m/n LW8253W) due to a leaking shaft seal. What other parts should I replace when I disassemble the motor/pump?

Check the belt for wear and make sure the idler pulley is turning freely.

If they look good there is nothing else that would need to be replaced.
