Default Water overflowing
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 11026822690
Age: 1 - 4 years

Water in the washer overflows and will not go to the next cycle. I tried filling and then unplugged the washer and the water stopped filling. I'm told it is either the water level switch or the timer. How do I find out which one it is and how do I fix it?

Thanks

This is caused by the water level switch not the timer.

Check the water level switch and make sure that the hose is on it.

It is located in the control panel.

The hose sends air pressure to the switch.

If the hose is on it you will need a new switch.

Here is what the switch looks like.
