Default Water level switch?
Brand: Crosley
Model Number: CW6000W
Age: 5 - 10 years

Had a repairman come out to fix my Crosley. He said the water sensor wasn't in place, probably too many unbalanced loads. After it was fixed I proceeded to use the machine , doing 3 loads, my sister then used the machine only to have it nearly flood the basement. Where is this water sensor or water level switch? Why did it happen so soon after a so called repair?

What was the reason for calling the repair man?

Was the washer over flowing?

This could be caused by a sticky inlet valve or an intermittent problem with the pressure switch.

You should have the repair man back.

The valve that fills the washer is at the back of the washer where the hoses attach.

The pressure switch is in the control panel. It is the switch that controls the water level.

Here is a link to your washer model CW6000W.

Here is a picture of your water level switch.

Here is a picture of your water inlet valve.

I found the real reason, the tub seems very loose because of unbalanced loads, when I tried it again the tub moves so much it keeps knocking the little clear tube out. The one that has to do with the water level. What can I do?

If the washer is going off balance that often check to make sure the suspension spring are all attached.
