Default Water leaking out door and more
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MAH5500
Age: 1 - 4 years

It started with water flowing out of the door of the front loader (it was closed all the way and locked). I turned the water off to the machine and ran a spin to get the water out. Some of the water drained, but not all. Then, when I went to take the clothes out and hang them up outside, I noticed that the clothes was warm even though the machine was supposed to be washing on cold.

Can you please supply the last three letters of your model number and your serial number?

You may have a bad water solenoid letting water in when turned off.

If you had to shut the water off to stop it then you have a faulty water valve.

Here is a link to your washer model Mah5500aww.

Here is your water valve.
