Question Water leaking into washer tub
Brand: Kenmore
Age: 5 - 10 years

I woke up this AM and heard a dripping sound from the laundry room.
I checked the utility sink and it was dry, I opened the washer and there was about an inch or so water in the bottome of the tub.

I turned the water off to the machine and then set the washer to spin to drain out the water.

the floor and the back of the washer are dry

what is the fix for this ??

thx
NewMoon

Hi,
You need to replace the water fill valve.
This is the part that the hot and cold hoses screw to on the back of the washer.
