Unhappy Water keeps running
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: pav2300aww
Age: 1 - 4 years

The washer keeps filling. It does not stop no matter what load setting it is set at until you pull the nob to shut if off. It will not agitate, if you set it to spin it will spin.

Your water level or pressure switch has failed.

Check and make sure the hose that runs up to the switch is on.

This provides air pressure to the switch to shut the water off.

Here is a link to your washer model pav2300aww.

The pressure switch is located in the control panel.

Here is the pressure switch.
