My wife started washer and it keeps filling and just over flows untill you stop it. Is it the level switch ,fill valves or is there a float switch? Can anyone help?

This is likely to be the water level switch.

If it was the fill valve you would have to shut the water off at the tap.

Here is a link to your washer model PAV2300AWW.

Here is a picture of the pressure switch. It is located in the control panel.

One thing to check is there is a hose that is attached to the valve. If this hose is off then it would cause the washer to over fill.

The water should stop because the water valve(s) are electric.

Open the front panel and see where the pressure switch tube goes into the tub. With machine empty of water remove the tube and blow into it and you should hear a click up in the panel, the switch.

Reinstall tube. Then open panel, with machine unplugged, and see if the wires are attached to the pressure switch. It can only be the switch.
