My washing machine wont spin or lock
I need to know what the problem might be
the motor or the timer. It was just not working on one spin

Was it working on one cycle then stopped?

Then you change to a different cycle and it stopped?

Now you have no cycle that the washer will spin?

Default same problem

I am having that same problem and ordered a new timer. I am trying to install it but can not figure out how to take the knob off? Do you know how it comes off. I read up on something saying to turn the inner knob counter-clockwise and have been turning it for what seems like an eternity and it is not coming off.

It does sound like the timer.

Here is a link to your washer model fws223rfs0.

Here is a picture and link of the timer.
