Default Washing machine trys to run off on spin
Brand: Crosley
Model Number: cw7000a
Age: 5 - 10 years

While on normal spin, the tub vibrates from side to side so hard that the machine actually moves. It rotates fine duing the wash cyle, but the during spin, it hits the sides and when the lid is lifted to stop, it comes to banging stop. Checked the drive belt and suspension pins and found none broke. Any help would be appreciated

Check the snubber assembly.

This is a ring in the center of the base that the tube assembly rides on.

If this is not moving smoothly on the base the tube will band.

Make sure the area the snubber rides on is clean.

Here is a link to your washer model cw7000a.
