Default Washing Machine only drains on 1 cycle
Brand: Admiral
Model Number: LNC6744A80
Age: More than 10 years

This machine has two wash cycles: the first with 1 wash cycle and 2 rinse/spin cycles and the second (for delicates) with one wash cycle and 1 rinse/spin.

The machine will only drain after the first wash cycle ad the first rinse/spin. It will not drain or spin in the second rinse/spin cycle or in the delicate rinse/spin cycle.

Any help, suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

This sounds like a problem in the timer.

Can you please verify your model number as I can't locate it in our database?

Sorry, Sheila--that is the model number on the top back of the machine--with the exception that the final digit could be an "O" rather than a zero.

The serial number is 10093842KW; and it's called Designer Series if any of that information helps.

Thanks again for any help you can give me.

The problem is likely the timer.

If your washer is a Canadian model call Whirlpool 1-800-253-1301.

If your washer is an American model call Whirlpool 1-800-833-4782.
