Default Washing machine makes schreeching noise
Brand: Tappan
Age: More than 10 years
I have a really old Tappan washing machine. It makes a loud screeching noise and there is a slight burning smell when I run it. Any ideas what part needs replaced?

Where is the noise coming from.

When does it make the noise?

Can't tell where the noise is coming from. Makes noise during spin cycle.
