Default Washing Machine agitator loose?
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a kenmore washer and it got overloaded and all of a sudden I heard a loud noise and opened it up and the tub was very loose, it moved back and forth, like nothing was holding it, it left some black marks on my clothing that was being washed. would like to see what options I have to try to fix it or just get rid of it?

Which is it? tub or agitator loose? If tub probably the drive block broke out it's center. It's really called the spin basket, and a ring nut holds it to the basket drive block, and so when the shaft spins so does the spin basket, till the basket drive block breaks, to check it out, remove agitator, take a blunt punch, & hammer and knock the ring nut loose and remove spin basket, look for broken out the center fo the cast aluminum drive block, piece o' cake
