i have a tromm washing maching it wont rince or spin but it will go threw the cycle what could be wrong i really cant afford to have anybody come look at it and fix it im sure it would cost alot any body please help

Can you please supply your model number and brand of washer?

If the washer is electronic is there any codes in the display?

i finally got the model number its --- wm2277hw i had someone tell me it was the inlet valve but we dont no for sure and the code er thats it

Does the water drain out of the washer?

Are you sure that the code is ER?

I can not find that code in any of the service manuals.

Is there any other information that you can give that may help.

it wont spin out there was a sock inside a filter or sumthing that slide out we cleaned it out and put it back in but it still wont spin it drains out the water some not all of the water but the biggest part of it i cant really tell wat it says when the code lights up hope this tells u somthing thanks

ok the code that comes up is oe i just figured that out

The code is a drain error code.

There could be something still stuck in the drain hose.

Take the drain hose off and run water through it to make sure it is clear.

Also check the filter again.
