Question Washing machine
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LBR5232EQ1
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi,
My washer will go through the cycles, but the water will not shut off.Does anyone think it may be the water level switch and not the timer???
The tub will fill and it will agitate, but water will continue unless I shut off main
water supply.

I think it's the water valve.
This is the part that the hot and cold hoses screw onto in back of the washer.
