Question Washing machine
Brand: Sears
Model Number: 110.24422300
Age: 1 - 4 years

Washer runs great. The problem is that when load in done spinning and shuts off, water comes back into tub. About one to two inches. Why and Where is it coming from? All drains have been checked for blockage. Water will flow back in when machine is shut off during all pump cycles.

You need to replace the water valve. It is leaking water into the washer. You might want to shut the water off, behind the washer until you replace the water valve, because you don't want to wake up with a house full of water. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
