Model Number: VBXR1090DBWW
Age: 1 - 4 years

Washer won't spin or drain when filled with water. Will spin when tub is empty of water.

Check and see if the pump is working.

You should be able to hear the pump motor.

Take the front panel off and watch the operation of the pump.

Can you drain it by placing the drain hose in a bucket?

If not then you have a blockage.

Kenmore KE4t doing the same thing .. . won't drain or spin. 1 year old -

I removed front panel and listen to pump. I unscrewed front of pump found sock stuck inside pump. Works fine. Thankyou!
