My Maytag Neptune front load washer model #MAH5500AWW wont spin. It will agitate. The DOOR LOCK light does not come on at all. It wont spin in any wash cycle. The clothes are sitting in water at the end of the wash cycle and they are a little soapy. I have narrowed the problem down to the lid switch from reading the previous forums. (Thanks). I have checked the parts list for this model and found the DOOR LOCK SPIN ENABLE SWITCH. I have a couple of questions:
1) Are there any other parts I should change out or check?
2) Are installation instructions included with the parts?

Yes the door switch is one thing that can stop the washer from spinning.

It also may be the electronic board. You can look at the board but it may not show any signs of being faulty.

Instructions are not usually included unless there has been a change to the part.

With the cost of the parts being in the range they are you may want to have a qualified Maytag technician look at it.
