i did a load of laundry the other night and it was working fine
today i did another load but noticed something was wrong when i pulled out dirty laundry
the timer seems to finish the cycles, only wihtout doing them...it will fill and drain water but nothing else
what should i look for?

When you pulled out your laundry was it still very wet?

If not the machine probably also does a spin cycle
Please check this as it will be a big help in narrowing down the problem

yes it was still wet
i just tried turning it by hand and it would not move, but after a little force it started to move again and would make sounds like it was trying to turn

Do you mean the motor was trying to run but could not for some reason

See if you can pull the agitaor off, you will have to pull hard. If you get it off, you will see a round plastic piece, that the agitaot sits on. It will have a screw in the center. That will most likely be your proble. The unit will spin but not agitate. To check, just put a low level of water in, and when it gets ready to agitate, put some pressure down on the top of the agitaor, if it starts to catch replace the hub I was telling you about.
