Brand: General Electric
Model Number: wle4000b1ww
Age: 5 - 10 years
washer wont agitate or spin. motor runs and belt is on. also cant get the large nut off shaft to get basket out, any suggestions

Your nut is likely left hand thread.

If the motor is running and the belt is on the problem is in the transmission.
