Washer won't spin or agitate

The washer appears to work through its cycles, but only fills and drains no agitate and no spin. No bad noises sounds like pump is running when it should. Worked fine untill this, haven't done anything year except look at new washers. It is a 1993 is it worth it. Fred

The problem was a broken coupling (plastic) from the motor to the transmission 10$ fix Fred
