My washer will not spin out after the wash cycle. It just stops after the wash cycle and sits through the spin cycle and then agitates again through the rinse cycle and then spins out. What I usually do is after the wash I turn it to the rinse spin cycle and then back to rinse and then spin to get a load of clothes done. Could it be the timing or is the time right to put this machine out to pasture?

It is the timer contact in that spot that are faulty.

Replacing the timer will fix your problem.
