Washer won't spin

My 2 year old Whirlpool GHW9400PLO will go through all the motions except for the spin cycle. We have checked the hose and there is no clog. We have also emptied the washer and it still will not spin. Please advise....

If the door is not locking then the washer will not spin.

This would indicate a problem with the door locking switch.
