Default Washer won't spin
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.20712990
Age: 5 - 10 years

My washer works until it hits the drain or spin cycle. I bought a switch to repair the lid switch since it seems go all of the way down and no longer clicks. I wan to replace it but do not know how to take the top off of my wahser. Can someone please help me?

IT has to be pried up two spring clips in front

Washer will nit spin .Fills ok, Agitates, Pumps out will not spin in any cysle . has one belt drives every thing. checked switch that works fine.

Don't pry anything!! your top is made on the cabinet. open the control panel, pry up the 2 gold colored clips, unplug lid switch, then tilt back the complete cabinet and lift it off toward you. Replace the lid switch, then replace cabinet and gold clips, reatach the panel and you're done!!!!!!!
