Our washer will only spin very slow and then stop or not at all. We tipped it and the belt is still on. Does it need a new belt or is there something more wrong?
Unplug the washer, and pull it away from the wall, and lean it back. Take the belt off, and turn the pump pully. If it is hard to turn, replace the pump and belt. If the pump is fine. Replace the belt. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
