Default Washer won't fill on rinse cycle
Brand: Whirlpool
Age: 5 - 10 years

When my washer gets to the rinse cycle, it will not completely drain the dirty water and no rinse water will enter the tub. Then it starts to agitate half full of dirty water.

It may be to a clogged pump and it dosent get rid of the water and when the timer cycles to rinse the pressure switch is already activated, therefore no fill and strait into agitate!!!!

Ok here we go!!!!! oN THE BACK OF THE PANEL THAT HOLDS YOUR TIMER AND ALL THE CONTROLS THERE ARE TWO SREWS IN EACH CORNER OF IT, remove those srews roll your controls backwards there are two metal clips on the cabinet insert about anything into the end of the clip pry it back and it will pop out do both of these this way , unplug your lid switch and lean the whole cabinet forward to remove it, your pump is right in the front under the tub, two hoses go to it, if there is water in the tub when you remove the top hose it will drain all the water out on you so be ready, there are two clips that hold the pump on they are inserted into the motor get some pliers and get them off pay attention to where they go, clean the pump out if anything is in it, also check your discharge hose and besure there is nothing in it as well , the hose that goes from the tub to the pump may have a sock or something else in it make sure all the system is clean and reassemble, if this does not fix the problem then it is possible that it is the pump or a problem with your drain.

Let me know how it goes Im here for ya!!!!!

If your whirlpool has super wash option, it fills, washes 5 or so minutes, then drains out part of the dirty water, and fills full again, and washes till the rinse cycle then drains the dirty water, spins fills with fresh water and finishes the wash, this only happens in super wash, if you have that setting
