Is the belt broken?

What is the problem with the washer that is making you think you need a belt?

Is it not agitating or spinning?

I can give you the instruction if the belt is broken but if the belt is still there you may have a problem with the wig wag assembly or the lid switch.

Please give as much detail as possible.

You do not have to take the transmission out to replace the belt.

Remove the three support that hold the transmission to the base of the washer.

Loosen the three bolt in the transmission that go into the support posts.

I think it is only three it may be four it has been a long time sense I change a belt on one of these.

There is only one bolt that you have to remove totally, it has a spacer.

Remove the spring that goes from the basket drive to the transmission.

Watch out for the spacer that they don't fall off.

Pry up on the basket drive plate and slide the belt between.

This is easiest to do if the transmission is in the spin position.
