Default Washer will not work correctly
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MAV7257AWW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Washer will fill with water but will not begin the next cycle. If you hit it in just the right spot it will finally start.

Default

If the sweet spot that makes your washer start woking is the lid you'll need to replace the lid switch.
