Default Washer will not spin in spin cycle
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: LAT2301AAE
Age: 5 - 10 years
Our Maytag washer just started not wanting to spin in the spin cycle today. It agitates ok, empties out water ok, but does not want to spin in the spin cycle. The clothes come out full of water. This morning there was a noise during the wash cycle that i have not heard before. Any ideas on what could be wrong.

What kind of noise was it?

Take the front panel of and watch and see what is happening.

Check the belt from the motor to the transmission.
