I have a Maytag washer made for european use. It has a probelm with not shutting off the water when the tub is full and it continually drips when the machine is not in use.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how can I fix it.

It sound like you have two problems.

The first is the pressure switch. This shut the water off when the level selected is reached.

The next is the fill valve. Check your water pressure it must be at least 20 psi.

If your water pressure is good then replace your fill valve also.

okay, that is sort of what I thought was the problem. I have a question about the part listed on your page. It states that it if for a "series 11" unit. There is no series number on the machine. I have looked everywhere and can only find the model and serial number the serial number is 29014150zb. According to the information on your website the serial number is supposed to be the first 2 digits of the Serial #. What do you recommend. Thanks
