Default Washer will not move from rinse
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KAWE770BWH1
Age: 1 - 4 years

My KitchenAid toploading washer is stuck on the rinse cycle. When I open the washer there is just a little trickle of water dropping into the washer. I tried shutting the washer off and it continues to trickle so my husband had to turn off the cold water. However, the washer works fine when I select hot water. My warm selection, I also noticed, is not warm but extrememly hot. Can someome help me?
Thanks.

Default cycle and timer

Thank you. I am certain that the inlet valve needs to be replaced. The washer has problems with letting cold water in. There is another issue that I need help with. The washer does not work in some cycles. For instance when it tries to run in the regular cycle it gets stuck in spin, but when I ran in in heavy cycle it ran through - the problem this time was the time was off. In short issues with cold water, stuck in spin on regular cycle, and timer is off other times. Bottom line: can this thing be fixed or do I blow it up?

The reason you have problems in the rinse cycle is the rinse cycle is a cold water rinse. Replace the valve, and then see if you have any problems. ApplianceEducator.com
