Washer will fill and agitate, but wont drain or spin

Hello.

My machine will fill up to proper level, and agitate normally, but once its finished agitating, the machine stops. No noises of any kind. It does not drain, it does not spin, and the dial does not move. I have tried it all cycles and no change.

We thought it was the timer, but after buying one and replacing it, it still does the exact same thing.

Any help on what to do next would be greatly appreciated.

Start by checking the lid switch.

If the switch is faulty it will not spin.
