 Washer Unbalance Problem Brand: Amana Model Number: LW8203W2 Age: More than 10 years
My Amana Washer was going out of balance nearly every spin cycle both at the end of the wash cycle and the end of the rinse cycle for final spin out. I took off the front cover. All the tub springs were intact and in place. The snubber looked ok. I shoved the tub off center and it would not return to center. I then moved the tub all around shoving it every way. Since then the out of balance problem seems to be resolved. Has anyone experienced this before? I think the springs might be weak, or does the snubber need lubed, or do I need to disassemble the washer and clean the snubber?? |
